We give below some haiku and tanka poems by Neena Singh, from her recently published One Breath Poetry: A journal of haiku, senryu & tanka (2020) and a poem by Richard Bauckham, Virus, specially written as a reflection on the coronavirus epidemic.

Neena Singh is a former senior banker (Executive Vice President, HDFC Bank) who now runs an NGO, the Bharat Prakarsh Foundation at Chandigarh, to help underprivileged children. She is the creator of ‘soul2soul’, a well-loved group on Facebook committed to spreading peace and goodwill through theme-based discussions among members. She lives with her husband, Prithpal and her golden labrador, Rumi in Chandigarh, India. ___________________________________________________________________________________________ Professor Richard Bauckham is one of today's leading biblical scholars. He has taught at Manchester University and the University of St Andrews, is a fellow of the British Academy and is now Senior Scholar at Ridley Hall, Cambridge. His many works include the highly acclaimed Jesus and the Eyewitnesses. When he can find the time he writes poetry and has also written two children’s story books about the MacBears of Bearloch.
